I should probably be studying right now, but I figured I would leave and update for those of you who still read this.
Hurricane Rita was nice. I enjoyed sitting outside in the wind and the rain. We missed four days of school and are now going to make them up during our thanksgiving break. We also have to skip two marching contests due to the fact that we aren't "ready" for them. I think it's a load of crap and that we sould still go to them but it's not my decision.
School is like it usually is. It's a lot easier this six weeks though. Psychology even seems a bit easier. I'm not ready for my test tomorrow, but I'll pull and all nighter for it. I also sang for open house which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The parents and other teachers enjoyed my little show. ^_^
Yay for updates!
So psych. isn't that bad now. I just have to keep studying and buy this workbook and CD to help with the class. I also need to get SAT books and sign up for them.
So no school tomorrow (maybe) 22 and 23 all because of Hurricane Rita. It makes me a little mad because it's my senior year and due to this damn hurricane I might have to change schools. I just feel sorry for all the people who are here from Hurricane Katrina and are having to evacuate again. Oh well, I'm not all that worried about the damage it might cause because I do live a good distance away from the coast. The most we will get are strong winds and rain nothing too bad.
Oh so apparently we might now be going to BOA. I'm so freaking pissed. That is the one contest that means anything to us and that is the whole reason we are doing the show we are doing. The directors are thinking about going to Blinn instead, but that is the dumbest contest ever. We got 2nd place at it last year and we were... words don't even describe how horrible we looked on the field. With as hard as we've been working so far, I think we could make BOA finals and even if we don't I still want to go just to see how close we can get. I'll talk to Doug about it later. I already talked to Jason about it and he said that he would talk to Doug and Trevor for me. Oh Dusy is mad because they have a drumline competition this weeked and now it's been cancled. This just isn't a good year >.<
Yay for Labor Day! I get the day off to study for my Psychology test tomorrow.
Go big O! We won Saturday! 32 - 19, and I met a hot guy named Ryan and he was from the other band.
Not much has happened other than that. Oh, I did finish a drawing and now I'm going to start on a new one.
Time for an update.
Well school is going pretty good, with the exception of Psychology. It's not that it's a hard class, it's just really hard to keep up with every other class plus marching band. Things will work out, I hope.
Band is like it is every year. We finally learned all of the first movement, now we just need to learn the second. Oh and the third movement is 43 sets. There is no way that we are going to be able to learn all of that by the time BOA comes. It's all B's fault, if he would just move a little bit faster we could have more done by now.
First football game was so much fun. We won of course thanks to Justan. I can't believe I'm a senior. That was my last first football game, and my last first half time show. =( I'm going to cry when it's my last UIL, BOA, and such.
